CIB President and CEO Visit LaRTIC
On November 25, 2024, the LaRTIC laboratory had the honor of hosting Professor Mark Hastak, President of the Council International for Research and Innovation in Building and Construction (CIB), along with Don Ward, its Chief Executive Officer. This visit to the Department of Construction Engineering at ÉTS was part of their North American tour aimed at meeting key players in construction research.
During the visit, they had the opportunity to explore the immersive virtual reality room as well as the 4D printing spaceat LaRTIC. The visit also allowed us to present them with several exciting projects, such as the use of 4D BIM simulation to mitigate local environmental impacts of construction projects, as well as the application of 4D printing in construction.
