Under the guidance of professors Conrad Boton and Louis Rivest, the thesis compares Building Information Modeling (BIM) and Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) approaches from the perspective of engineering change management.

This research delves into the methods, processes, and tools used in both BIM and PLM domains, aiming to propose avenues for cross-pollination between these two approaches. The project, involving diverse industrial partners from the construction, aerospace, and energy sectors, has led to various contributions, including industrial presentations, comprehensive reports, conference presentations, and journal articles.
