Dr. Numan Khan has joined the team of the LaRTIC !
We are happy to welcome Dr. Numan Khan in the LaRTIC team, as a postdoctoral fellow.
Dr. Khan's skills will be very useful for LaRTIC. His research work is intended to propose and implement advanced technologies to enhance safety and reduce defects in construction projects. He published nine articles in internationally reputed journals, presented 12 conference papers in international conferences and workshops, as well as in three domestic conferences.
His area of research is mainly focused on construction fire safety management, computer vision-based safety management, rule-based safety information modeling (SIM), and blockchain-based concept model for safety and quality. He also got the best paper award from the Korea Institute of Construction Engineering and Management (KICEM) in 2018.
In 2019, he received a Samho scholarship for outstanding grades and an extraordinary spirit of service in the school of Architecture at Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea. His university awarded him Chung-Ang Young Scientist Scholarship for Ph.D. studies at Chung-Ang University, Seoul, South Korea. Moreover, he is contributing as a reviewer to different scientific journals named as Applied Sciences, Computers in industry, and Automation in Construction
